Zain Bhikha - Mountain of Makkah

Oh Mountains of Makkah, what can you say
Of the day that Ibrahim passed your way?
And He was instructed by God to build
A House of peace where people will pray
And they will come on every lean
camel and out of every ravine
For the purpose of praising Allah
To glorify Allah

Oh Mountains of Makkah, what can you tell
Of the day that stones from the sky fell?
Destroying an army determined to break
The House of Allah that Abraham built

Oh Mountains of Makkah, how was the dawn
On the day that my Prophet Muhammad was born?
How did it feel knowing he was to bethe last and most beloved of all?
Rasul of Allah, Nabi of Allah

Oh Mountains of Makkah, you were there
When the Prophet Muhammad climbed down in despair
Engraved in his heart were the words of his Lord
To all of mankind this was his call
La illaha illAllah, Muhammadun-Rasul-Allah
Oh people praise only Allah, Glorify Allah

Oh Mountains of Makkah, how did you mourn
On the day that the beloved returned to his Lord?
And up ‘till the last breath escaped from his lips
He prayed that his Ummah would find success

Oh Mountains of Makkah how will it feel
When the earth shall quake and tremble with fear?
And we shall be gathered together to stand
In the court of Allah with our deeds at hand

Oh how we pray that on that day
We’ll be with those to whom Allah will say“Peace be with you, I am pleased with you”

Oh Mountains of Makkah, Bear witness that I
To the oneness of Allah do I testify
For all that He’s given me, how can I deny
My purpose in life should be only to cry:
La illaha illAllah, Muhammadun-Rasul Allah
There is no god but Allah, Muhammad’s His Messenger

Allahumma Salli ala, Muhammad RasullillahAllahumma Salli ala, Muhammad Nabi AllahAllahumma Salli ala, Muhammad
RasullillahAllahumma Salli ala,
Muhammad Rasul of Allah

Maher Zain - Palestine Will Be Free

Every day we tell each other
That this day will be the last
And tomorrow we all can go home free
And all this will finally end
Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

No mother no father to wipe away my tears
That’s why I won’t cry
I feel scared but I won’t show my fears
I keep my head high
Deep in my heart I never have any doubt
That Palestine tomorrow will be freePalestine tomorrow will be free

I saw those rockets and bombs shining in the sky
Like drops of rain in the sun’s light
Taking away everyone dear to my heart
Destroying my dreams in a blink of an eye

What happened to our human rights?
What happened to the sanctity of life?

And all those other lies?
I know that I’m only a child
But is your conscience still alive

I will caress with my bare hands
Every precious grain of sand
Every stone and every tree‘Cause no matter what they do
They can never hurt you
Coz your soul will always be free

Palestine tomorrow will be free
Palestine tomorrow will be free

Zain Bhikha - Our World

Every morning on every news flash
I hear the sorrow of the world
It seems like everybody's lost and Scared
trying to make sense of it all
And as I travel to and fro, so many faces pass me by
I see lonely hearts living lonely lives just biding their time
And while we call ourselves civilized, many people living empty lives
As they drone their way through day and night

I pray for our world,
I pray for every child
I pray for our world to be filled with smiles
Like the colours of a rainbow and not just black and white
I pray for our world to be filled with light
I pray for all of us, to choose the path that's right
To believe in Allah every day of our lives
In the evening on the TV news, I see images of war.
I see brother killing brother with no consequence at all.
And while those who claim to be leaders, sell us tales of deceit.
But Allah alone know in their hearts what they reveal and conceal.
And while we call ourselves civilized,
We go on killing human lives
Too caught up in our own web of lies
Every mother,
every father,
every daughter,
every son
Don't you see, that the answer lies only with the ONE

Sami Yusuf - My Ummah

My ummah, my ummah
He will say
Rasulullah on that day
Even though we’ve strayed from him and his way
My brothers, my sisters, in Islam
Let’s struggle, work, and pray
If we are to
Bring back the glory of his way
Ya Allah ya rabbal ‘alamin
Ya rahmanu ya rahim
Ya rabbi
Let the Ummah rise again
Let us see daylight again
Once again
Let’s become whole again
Proud again’
Cause I swear with firm belief in our hearts
We can bring back the glory of our past
My ummah, my ummah
He will say
Rasulullah on that day
Even though we strayed from him and his way
Look at where we were
And look at where we are
And tell me
Is this how he’d want it to be?
Oh no! Let us bring back our glory

Sami Yusuf - My Only Wish (Interlude)

Sami Yusuf - My Only Wish (Interlude)

All your armies,
all your fighters
All your tanks,
and all your soldiers

Against a boy holding a stone
Standing there all alone
In his eyes I see the sun
In his smile I see the moon

And I wonder,
I only wonder
Who is weak, and who is strong?
Who is right, and who is wrong?

And I wish, I only wish
That the truth has a tongue

Sami Yusuf - Forever Palestine

Sami Yusuf - Forever Palestine

Mother don’t cry for me I am heading off to war
God almighty is my armour and sword
Palestine, Forever Palestine

Children being killed for throwing stones in the sky
They say to their parents don’t worry,
God is on our side
Palestine, Forever Palestine

Mother don’t worry when they come for us at night
Surely they’ll be sorry when God puts them right
Tell me why they’re doing what was done to them
Don’t they know that God is with the oppressed and needy
Perished were the nations that ruled through tyranny
Palestine, Forever Palestine

Children of Palestine are fighting for their lives
They say to their parents we know that Palestine is our right
They to say to their parents we’ll fight for what is right
They say not to worry God is on our side
They say we’ll die for PalestinePalestine, Forever Palestine

Sami Yusuf - Not In My Name

Another great song with strong message on world domination and war.

Sami Yusuf - Not In My Name

Is it not enough what you've done?
With all the bloodshed you've caused
Yet your greed drives you on
In your brutal race for acquisition
No land is left untouched
Driven by a vile ambition
To have the whole world in your clutch
Every single new addition
To your slave colony
Does nothing to dull your ambition
To leave no nation free
It is indeed a sad condition that you suffer from
This itching desire for a prime position
To have all under your thumb

Not in my name will you fight
Not in my name will you kill
Not in my name will you burn a child
Not in my name will you lie
Not in my name will you invade
Not in my name will you rape
Not in my name will you terrorise
Not in my name will you lie

I warn it's time to take heed
One day you'll find yourself pursued
By every person you've made bleed
You thought they'd been subdued
You were wrong
You were wrong
They've been freed
They've been freed

Against your evil methods of violence and intimidation
Against your hijacking and misinterpretation
Of my peaceful faith and revelation
I shout with billions in this demonstration

Not in my name will you fight
Not in my name will you kill
Not in my name will you burn a child
Not in my name will you lie
Not in my name will you invade
Not in my name will you rape
Not in our name
Will you dare to speak again
Not in our name

Sami Yusuf - A Thousand Times

Without your warmth,
without your smile
Without you,
by my side

The world was so cold,
I felt so lost
Without your light,
I felt so blind
A thousand miles I'd run and walk
A thousand times I'd slip and fall
But for you I'd do it again
A thousand times

Without your warmth,
without your smile
Without you, by my side
The world was so cold,
I felt so lost
Without your light,
I felt so blind

You gave me hope,
you let me dream
Made me believe
I can still trust
You raised me up,
gave me wings
Just like a kite in the sky

A thousand miles I'd run and walk
A thousand times I'd slip and fall
But for you I'd do it again
A thousand times

No words are enough to convey
All the things I want to say
won't even try
Cos I know
Deep down you feel how much I care
Now I hold my head up high
I see my dreams coming true
Peace be with you my dearest friend
In my heart you will remain

Sami Yusuf - You Came To Me

Sami Yusuf has been my all time no.1 fav. He has this ability of producing such beautiful songs which sometimes drove peoples into tears and some of them even revert into Islam after listening to his nasheed. Subhanaallah...

For me, my personal view on nasheed is that, it all falls into niat, or intention. Its all bout sincerety.

These are one of my fav nasheed. And make sure you checked out the music video.

Sami Yusuf - You Came To Me

You came to me in that hour of need
When I was so lost, so lonely
You came to me took my breath away
Showed me the right way,
the way to lead

You filled my heart with love
Showed me the light above
Now all I want Is to be with you
You are my one true love
Taught me to never judge
Now all I want
Is to be with you

Allahumma Sal 'ala Sayideena Mustafa'
Alaa Habeebika Nabieeka Mustafa
(O God! Send Your Blessings upon our leader, the chosen one
Upon Your Beloved, Your Prophet, the chosen one)

You came to me in a time of despair
I called on you, you were there
Without You what would my life mean?
To not know the unseen,
the worlds between

For you I'd sacrifice
For you I'd give my life
Anything, just to be with youI feel so lost at times
By all the hurt and lies
Now all I want
Is to be with you

Showed right from wrong
Taught me to be strong
Need you more than ever
Ya Rasul Allah
You came to me
In that hour of need
Need you more than ever
Ya Rasul Allah
